Why Ballparks

Four reasons teams come back.

Teams come for the baseball. Families come back for everything around it.

MLB Replica field at Ballparks of America
01 · Great Baseball

The fields you've seen on TV. At two-thirds the scale.

MLB Replica fields — two-thirds-scale tributes to Busch, Wrigley, Fenway, Kauffman, and Ebbets. Synthetic turf. Sunken dugouts. Stadium lighting. Teams come from every region of the country and a handful from overseas. Skills competitions Sunday. Home Run Derby every tournament. Umpires we hire and train ourselves — no surprise crews, no surprise calls.

Team suite at Ballparks of America
02 · The Ballparks Experience

The locker had your name on it before you got here.

Custom hats and team-designed jerseys hanging in pro-style lockers when your team arrives. Air-conditioned Team Suites. Player Trading Cards. White Water 5-day passes for every player. And Ballparks After Dark — every field's lights stay on til midnight, Blitzball personalities on campus pitching, hitting, hanging with players. The nights are where the memories happen.

Branson family activities
03 · Branson

The off-day Thursday is in the schedule for a reason.

Silver Dollar City. White Water. Table Rock Lake. Trout fishing on Taneycomo. Big Cedar and Thousand Hills golf. The Branson Landing. Hiking the Ozarks. A baseball week with a vacation built into it — not the other way around.

Lodging next to campus
04 · The Lodging

Team suites on campus. The whole family next door.

Players and coaches stay in the suites. Families have the brand-new Element Hotel right next door — plus the full Thousand Hills Vacations catalog (Cabins at Grand Mountain, Links and Fairways on the golf course, Table Rock Resorts, The Majestic with lake views and rooftop decks). One booking flow. Everyone close to the campus.

Format

Two ways to play a Ballparks tournament.

Same campus. Same MLB Replica fields. Same lockers waiting with your name. The difference is how many days you stay and how many games you play.

Partner Tournaments

Looking for GMB, Game 7, AABC, or Cal Ripken?

Several partner organizations host their own tournaments at Ballparks of America — different rules, different sign-up, different cost. You're playing on our campus, but you're registering with them. Babe Ruth League's Cal Ripken Major/70 World Series (hosted here since 2017) lives there too.
